Parents’ Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form the basis of the contractual relationship between the parent(s)/guardian(s) and Traden Online School. By enrolling a child in any of our programmes, the parent or legal guardian agrees to abide by the terms outlined below.

1. Definitions

  • “School” refers to Traden Online School.
  • “Parent” refers to the legal parent(s) or guardian(s) of the enrolled student.
  • “Student” refers to the child or learner enrolled in any course or programme.
  • “Course” refers to any academic or enrichment programme offered by the School.

2. Enrolment and Admission

  • Enrolment is confirmed once:
    • The application is accepted by the School.
    • All required documents have been submitted.
    • The first tuition payment has been received.
  • Parents must ensure that all information provided during the application process is complete and accurate.

3. Fees and Payments

  • All fees must be paid in advance of the course start date.
  • Fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
  • Payment plans may be available upon request.
  • The School reserves the right to suspend access to classes and materials if fees remain unpaid after the due date.

4. Technology and Internet Access

  • Parents are responsible for providing the student with:
    • A reliable internet connection.
    • A compatible device (laptop, tablet, or desktop).
    • A quiet and safe learning environment.
  • The School will not be held liable for any missed sessions due to technical issues at home.

5. Parental Support and Communication

  • Especially for young learners, the School expects parents to:
    • Monitor attendance and engagement.
    • Communicate respectfully with staff.
    • Support homework and independent study routines.
  • Parents must notify the School of any changes to contact or emergency information.

6. Behaviour and Code of Conduct

  • Students are expected to follow the School’s Behaviour Policy.
  • Parents are responsible for ensuring their child understands and adheres to appropriate online conduct.
  • Any form of bullying, disrespect, or inappropriate behaviour may result in disciplinary action, including temporary or permanent exclusion.

7. Attendance and Participation

  • Attendance at scheduled sessions is mandatory unless a valid reason is provided (e.g., illness).
  • In the event of an absence, parents must inform the School in advance or as soon as possible.
  • Repeated, unexplained absences may affect the student’s progression.

8. Curriculum and Learning Materials

  • The School reserves the right to update or modify course content as needed.
  • Some programmes may recommend or require the purchase of additional materials (e.g., books, tools).
  • Traden Online School uses both proprietary and licensed educational content in accordance with copyright laws.

9. Safeguarding and Privacy

  • Traden Online School follows strict Safeguarding and Child Protection Policies.
  • Parents consent to the collection and secure storage of personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Online classes may be recorded for safeguarding and quality assurance purposes. These recordings are stored securely and not shared publicly.

10. Cancellation and Withdrawal

  • Parents must provide written notice if they wish to withdraw their child from a course.
  • The notice period and any applicable refunds are governed by the School’s Refund and Cancellation Policy.
  • The School reserves the right to cancel enrolment in cases of misconduct, non-payment, or breach of these Terms.

11. Complaints

  • Traden Online School encourages open and respectful communication.
  • Any concern or complaint should first be raised with the relevant teacher or administrator.
  • If not resolved, formal complaints can be submitted in writing and will be addressed in accordance with our Complaints Policy.

12. Amendments

  • The School reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Parents will be notified of any significant changes in advance.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
